Questing Not Grinding
The truth is that world of warcraft is meant to be played by having fun questing all over the world and not grinding in remote locations everything you see for hours. Sure you could grind all day but you take all the fun, and the storyline, out of the game.
Before The Burning Crusade Expansion was released, I have speed leveled many characters by questing. I also tested out how fast you could grind. There was a shocking difference in the times, faction gain, friends made, and the overall boredom. There was nearly a 4 day difference of the actual time spent in game. If that doesn't already sound bad enough, since The Burning Crusade Expansion was released, Blizzard severely upped the XP rates for 2 reasons.
The first reason was simply logical, they wanted to make the content last a while since you had 10 more levels instead of 60.
The second reason was to stop people from grinding and actually enjoy the game content. The target ranged from the average MMO consumer who is used to grinding on a daily basis, as mentioned above, to the leveling services that are frowned upon and is a bannable offense.
This not only makes grinding extremely time consuming, but will never allow you to level in an efficient manner. The only possible thing you could gain from it is a lot of gold, but it makes a lot more sense to hit 70 first before you farm gold. Particularly for the fact you get more gold from higher level monsters and so that you can farm anything you want and at a lot faster pace.

A very simple and easy to understand guide on how to avoid those annoying scammers in Runescape.
People often scam you in Runescape for something they would like to get of you with a cheaper price by tricking you. You wouldn't like that would you? If you were scammed and would like to know how to spot a scammer, then say no more, here is a guide on how to keep away from scammers and how to keep your stuff safe!

1. One popular scam has surely got to be the mistaken amount scam. For an example, you are selling something for 25k, you see that someone is wanting to trade with you and they put in 25k. They accept it and when it come to the, “are you sure” bit of the trade, they retrade and change the amount quickly from 25k to 2.5k hoping you wouldn't notice and you would accept it. This has happened to me but the best thing is to do is take your time while trading. This usually happens with valuable stuff like rune, dragon, etc.
2. The two people scam trick, this I have seen in Varrock twice or thrice. This is when two friends or someone random join forces. One of them in a bank or a packed are announces buying something for a higher price than something is usually by a huge amount. The second person, down the road in a less packed is selling what the first person wants for a super cheap price. A random guy notices it and thinks they can make a pretty big profit so they buy the cheaper item and decide to sell it to the first person. The first person declines and that means you get ripped-of and the other two make money.
3. Trimming, I reckon the MOST popular scam. This happens usually in a packed area once again. The scammer shouts out trimming armor or weapon for free. If you are stupid enough you will trade him and find out that he has just got your weapon or armor for free! Hopefully I'm completely sure none of the people reading this have fallen for it. You can only get trimmed items from treasure trails which are only for members.
4. The “doubling item scam”, which I reckon is really dumb. If you trade them, they often just walk away and are often low levels with really dodgy names to remember to report them.
5. If you do surf the net for free memberships and guys that say they are member of the Jagex Staff and are giving free stuff away, often ask for your username and password. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT give them your username and password and this is also one of the rules in Runescape, "do not give your password out".
6. There are also websites which have a program like thing which you put your username and password in and says you are a member, log in after some amount of time. The websites look so similar to runescape's website and I too have fallen for this trick and so have others.

Automated Gold Farming Bot guide
This guide will walk you through the simple steps of creating your own macros for guild wars. You will need a program called Macro Express, and can download the shareware version from http://www.macros.com/
It is a safe program that has been in use for years with no hidden spy ware attached to it.
` With Macro Express, you can record, edit and play back mouse and keyboard macros.
Step 1:
Start up Guild Wars and once in the game to to an easy District such as Ascalon City, Ruins of Surmia, or Fort Ranik, somewhere you can kill easy Mobs compared to the level your at. Go through a portal and fight your way somewhere into the middle of the map. Once there kill any Mobs within proximately range but leave the others.
Step 2:
Alt tab out of Guild Wars to your desktop and open up Macro Express. On the left-hand side you will see a capture icon click that looks like a camera click this icon. An Add Macro screen will pop up, hold down the Ctrl key and then push the J key. Now click the Capture Macro button. A warning screen will come up and simply click yes to continue. Give your “Ctrl J Macro” a Nickname such as Double Alt Warning screen will pop up, click Ok.
Step 3:
Alt tab back into guild wars and hit the tab key to target a Mob, hit the space key to attack it and then the skills keys you want to use, (click your mouse on the screen in several places to get your character moving if there are no targets within range). Heal yourself often if you have the skills. Repeat this 3 times in different combinations.
Step 4:
Hold down the Ctrl key and hit J. A screen will pop up indicating the Capture is complete. Click Ok and alt tab back into Macro Express. Scroll down the list of macros until you see the macro you have just created “ Farming test1” and right mouse click on it. Scroll down to "edit with Scripting Editor" and left mouse click on this line.
Under commands scroll down to the Repeat icon and left mouse click on it. Click on "Repeat Start" Now just to the right of this screen are three arrows click on the top one with the blue plus sign. A repeat screen will appear, enter 1000 into the repeat count and click Ok.
Now under commands click the Repeat End; click the bottom arrow with the red plus sign. Do a file save and your Marco is ready to use.
Step 5:
Alt tab back into Guild Wars and hold down the Ctrl key and J key, your macro will start.
To stop your macro at anytime hold down the Scroll lock key and then push the Pause key.
Step 6:
When you have stopped your macro from running simply hold down the Alt key and start collecting the gold coins, dye, and loot left by the Mobs. Use your map to follow your steps backwards.
Step 7 :
Identify every item that is White, Blue, or Purple (Save Gold Items Unidentified because they sell better to other players as (UNIDENTIFIED). Identifying an item makes the Merchant pay you a higher price. I pick up everything in the zone and go to the vendor and start selling everything that doesn't interest me. Better items like dye, I sell to other players for extra income.

Ultimate Guide to Runescape Hybrids

Ever wonder why every time you walk into the wilderness you get absolutely owned by people several levels lower than you? It's because they know about pures and how to make good pures and you don't... until now. runescape gold
Definition of a Pure:
A pure is an account designed for a few, usually 2-6, specific skills all contributing to one purpose. This purpose is to kill other pures and mains (see 3 definition) in the wilderness. The reason why they only train certain skills is because it cuts down on their combat level. One skill that almost all pures cut out is defence, they find it unnecessary. They also limit prayer.
Definition of a Hybrid:
A hybrid is a pure which uses a combination of attack, strength, mage, and range to fight opponents in the wilderness. They always have 1 prayer and no more, and usually no more then 52 prayer but having more prayer doesn't exactly take away your title of hybrid.
Definition of a Main:
A main is an account with all combat stats pretty much equal. They are usually what most people have unless they are planning on pking. An example of a main would be 40 attack 40 strenght 40 defence 35-ish hitpoints 40 range and 40 mage. The reason why these accounts are terrible for pking is because there is nothing to cut down on their combat level so compared to pures they are incredibly weak for their level. A hybrid of the same combat level as that example main could have: 40 attack 40 strenght 55 hitpoints 70 range and 70 mage.
Low Level Pure:
In my experience the best way to start out your hybrid would be in f2p as a low level mage pure. These are the stats you should be getting and the order I give you is the one I find most efficient to work in f2p if you plan on pking.
Mage: 1-13 wind strike on chickens or something, it really doesn't matter. This only takes a few minutes.
At 13 mage you are able to fire strike so you should fire strike until level 35 magic.
Optional: At lvl 16 mage switch to wind bolt.
Cast fire strike or wind bolt on zombies in varrock sewers.
So now you are still a low level pure but there isn't much of a point in continuing with mage because mages are no longer “ownage” at these levels because you start seeing rangers with dhide. At this point you should start getting your range up.
1-20 range: Chickens use the best bow you can with iron arrows.
20-35 range: I like to range the scorpions in the alkarid mine at this point, just stand up on the cliff outside of the mine and range them. I don't recommend picking up your arrows. If you want a place to pick up arrows then go to cows. Once again, iron arrows and best bow.
35-45 range: I recommend training at zombies in varrock sewers, the thing is that you cant pick up arrows. If you really want to pick up arrows then try alkarid warriors but make sure to bring some food.
So know you are a low level range/mage hybrid. To be a true hybrid you will need to get melee stats also. However I do not recommend adding melee to this until you become p2p.
If you decide to be Melee/Range to start out with instead of Range/Mage then you should have around 30 attack 35 strength and 45-50 range. This kind of a pure is called a range 2h pure.
Low-level pking strategy for a Range/Mage:
You should wear robes because it is impossible to cast in dhide. Start out with a couple fire bolts when you have them at around ½-1/4 hp depending on your combat you should switch to range with the best bow and best arrows you can wield. The semi hard and fast hits should be enough to ko, an extra fire bolt as a finisher works well too.
Low-level pking strategy for a Range/2h:
You should have an adamant 2h in your inventory as well as a str potion and lobsters. When your opponent is at half health hit him 1 more time and just as your bow is being raised to fire the arrow click on your 2h and press attack on him resulting in a shot from an arrow plus a shot from a 2h. When done correctly these two hits should stack up causing a large amount of damage on an unsuspecting opponent.
Mid Level F2P Pure:
Congratulations you have gotten ready to become a mid level pure and have done some pking on the way! Now I still suggest choosing either Range/Mage or Range/Melee. Personally I think Range/Melee is slightly more effective because mage is slow and does not help much in f2p.

Aside from World of Warcraft, no other MMOG titles have come near the worldwide success of Guild Wars, the free-to-play (but not to buy) title from Arena.net. By making a flexible game, one that both Western and Eastern audiences could enjoy, Guild Wars found itself pulled into a head-to-head grudge match with its competitor World of Warcraft. Despite boasting numbers that would have been record-breaking in years past, Guild Wars has never been able to meet the numbers that WoW has posted, yet they still hold onto a very positive chunk of the online marketplace.guild wars gold

In my trek to review as many MMOGs as I can in these next few months, Guild Wars struck me as a game that desperately needed a review. Prompted by my desire to see a completed article about Arena.net’s game, I fished through my library of CDs and found an old copy of the game that I had purchased years ago. A Blend of Cultures

Logging into the account was a breeze after my initial error, and I soon found myself at the familiar character creation screen. Although created with both the Eastern and Western audience in mind, Guild Wars is not lacking in the character customization department. With six classes to choose from – and then another sub-profession to pick later in the game – players should have no desire to find new classes to play. Indeed, playing through each combo is a journey in-and-of itself. The classes you can select are Warrior, Ranger, Monk, Mesmer, Necromancer, and Elementalist; and each has its own particular focus. While the Rangers excel at ranged combat, the Monk can heal his fallen comrades and the Necromancer can resurrect dead enemies to fight for him.

By blending these classes, you can make your own particular combo-character. For instance, I was always a huge fan of the Shadow Knight in Everquest. So I created a Warrior/Necromancer that sports yellow and blue and wields a monumental hammer (in honor of my Ten Ton Hammer brethren). With PvP such a huge factor in Guild Wars (you can create PvP-only characters based off your roleplaying avatars), class balance is essential and Arena.net has gone to great lengths to insure characters do not break the bounds of their powers.

As far as physical appearance goes, there’s actually an adequate assortment of faces, colors, and hairstyles to choose from, on top of character scale and other options. Your overall appearance will be designated by the class you choose: Necromancers are thin and rangy, Warriors are thick and burly, etc. After that, most of your customization will occur through your weapons and armor that you find later in the game.

After playing through numerous Korean games as of late, it’s a fair assumption that ArenaNet wanted to appeal to both Eastern and Western cultures when they created Guild Wars. Changing a character’s appearance based on their class is one of the trademark touches of the Korean MMOs, and not something you often find in Western titles of the same venue. The most successful MMO of all time has had its ups and downs just like any online game, yet recently things have taken a bit of a nosedive. Since last Wednesday's regular maintenance a large number of players had been experiencing internet lag of nightmarish proportions. For six days wow gold was practically unplayable on a large number of the European servers. Frequent lag spikes were accompanied by sustained periods of astronomical latency with many players experiencing ping times well in excess of 15,000. Not only did this make for an incredibly frustrating gameplay experience but it also led to a large number of expensive in-game deaths and to the cancellation of almost all raiding activity in the game's high-end content. Many servers were temporarily shut down with barely any notice during this period and the number of disconnects reached what must have been an all time record.wow gold

On numerous nights the affected servers just disappeared from the realm lists, in effect ceasing to exist to the outside world because the lag was so bad that all communication with them timed out. Many other servers continued to function as normal, leading many players to abandon their normal characters to go off and play alternatives and have some fun with the now besieged local residents. A small number of players had become so disillusioned that they sought to cancel or suspend their accounts only to find out that the malaise extended to the billing section with many people locked out of the accounts page, unable to alter their subscription. This last problem is not in any way new; previously many players have been unable to renew their monthly subscription and earlier in the game's life every player was mysteriously charged the subscription fee by one of a number of European hotels, one of the more bizarre billing issues to beset wow gold.

As of yesterday the lag problem has apparently been fixed. Blizzard had initially claimed victory against the evil forces of lag last Friday, citing a faulty piece of hardware as the cause of all the woes. Its replacement was meant to usher in a new era of peace and prosperity. Unfortunately no such thing happened and players continued to be denied the service that they were paying their monthly subscription fees for. Blizzard then asked players experiencing problems to aid them by filling out a traceroute form. The more tech-savvy amongst the player community looked at these published reports and came to the conclusion that the problem lay with Telia, an ISP that Blizzard uses to provide the backbone from the Paris datacentre where the European realms are housed and the rest of the internet. Blizzard continued to offer up a range of other possible reasons, up to and including the proposition that it was individual player's internet or computer settings causing the difficulties even though entire servers were experiencing the lag. Any and all queries to Blizzard's technical support, either in-game via GMs or via the forums and telephone support lines were met with 'cut & paste' answers, none of which seemed to tally with the experience of tens of thousands of increasingly annoyed and angry players.

You must have 8 players to enter the arena. Each victory here after the first round will give you fame. Once you enter, you will face these computer opponents.guild wars gold

Depending on how fast you kill these monsters, you will gain from 0 to 10% morale boost.guild wars gold

Under 30 Seconds, 10%
Under 1 Minute, 8%
Under 1:30, 6%
Note that killing enemy ghostly heroes will also give your team 10% morale boost. Killing your first enemy team before their ghost will also net 10%.

The Underworld

Burial Mound
A very common starter map. Each team is positioned right by one other enemy team. Every team has a priest that will resurrect your team mates every 2 minutes. He is equipped with a weak mace, and casts heal area for 180 (?) points.guild wars gold

Another important feature of the map is the Storm Obelisk. It sits between you and your enemy neighbor. Take your flag, and click on the beacon to make it shoot lightning every couple seconds for ~40 damage. The enemy can recapture the obelisk by putting their flag on it. Your flag will automatically teleport back around your priest. It is possible to capture multiple obelisks.guild wars gold

Broken Tower
This is a king of the hill scenario. There is a 10 minute timer. The point of the map is to get your hero to the middle of the map, where he will claim the center. Every 2 minutes, the team to last capture the center will gain a morale boost of 10%.guild wars gold

There is a special resurrection item. Three of them spawn in the three locations outside. If you drop it, nearby party members will be resurrected. Scarred Earth
This map is like 2 round of Burial Mound. However there are some differences.

No priest
Each team is sealed off with a wall until one team dies.
People often try to leave 1 enemy alive to keep their wall up. Also, people like to stand up on the bridge to have the higher ground.guild wars gold

Unholy Temple
This map is a game of capture the flag except with relics. Your ghostly hero will not follow you. He stays at your base, accepting your enemies’ relics carried by you. If your hero is dead, you cannot score. If your entire team dies, you will resurrect every 2 minutes along with the hero.guild wars gold

You will have 10 minutes to be the last to give the enemy relic to your ghostly hero or capture 3 relics before the opponent captures one.guild wars gold

Caution! Holding a relic makes you about 20% slower. You are also unable to attack like holding a flag, but you can use skills not requiring a weapon.
Be careful not to die or drop the relic! Your enemy can just click on it when its on the ground, causing it to be teleported back to their base.guild wars gold
Trapping the area around your relic is a great strategy.
Proving Grounds(?)
This is a 1v1 with resurrection priests. Your base has a long pathway and a short pathway to the enemy base. The short pathway is blocked by a wall that you can open by pressing the button.guild wars gold

The Courtyard
This is another 3 way king of the hill with some differences.

Every team has a resurrect priest instead of a resurrect item.guild wars gold
Each team has a long pathway, and a short pathway to the center. Some player, (enemy or friendly) must click on the button near the middle of the map to open that door.
Try to have the enemy kill your priest at the beginning. If you hold the center, your team and your priest will convieniently resurrect in the middle. Therefore, if an enemy has control of the middle, try not to kill their priest, so if they die, they will respawn far away from the center.guild wars gold

Sacred Temple
This is another capture the relic map. The only difference is that there is a door preventing quick access to your enemies’ base. There is a longer route that leads to some switches that allows the opening and closing of the door.guild wars gold

The Vault
You get to wait here until another hall of hero battle opens up for your team. Be prepared to wait for a while.guild wars gold

The Hall of Heroes
The final battle will yield you a chest full of 3 celestial sigils (to buy a guild hall with) and a random rare item.guild wars gold

This map will either have 3, 4 or 5 teams.

The previous winner of the Hall of Heroes will start in the middle in control of the center.guild wars gold

The other teams are sealed off and paired against another opponent. After your first opponents’ team dies, the passageway to the center will open.guild wars gold
